WD provides dedicated warranty support and service in India

Please follow the steps below if you need warranty service for a defective product

  1. Search our Knowledge Base

    Many of the problems we receive can be resolved directly by our customers. Please search our Knowledge Base for possible solutions.

  2. Diagnose the Issue

    Download our diagnostics utility, Data Lifeguard Diagnostics, to diagnose the problem.

  3. Create an RMA

    Log into our WD Support portal and create an RMA to request your replacement product(s). Write the RMA # on at least 3 sides of the packaging.

  4. Use WD approved packaging

    Follow the packaging and shipping instructions to send in your defective product(s).

  5. Use a traceable carrier

    Make sure to use a carrier that provides a tracking number to ship your defective product(s).

  6. Review the information below

    See below for the shipping address and other important RMA related information.
